Where to Eat in East Downtown (EaDo)

Near the George R. Brown Convention Center and PNC Stadium you’ll find the vibrant and vastly growing neighborhoods of EaDo (short for East Downtown) and East End. EaDo was once home to Houston’s Chinatown and East End has been known for its great art scene. Both neighborhoods now boast a culturally diverse selection of restaurants and bars for Houstonians and visitors to enjoy. If you’re hungry for a good time, read on for our food and drink recommendations!

Brass Tacks is the perfect place to study, work or simply get your day started. Grab a pastry and an iced coffee, nitro cold brew or a London fog tea to take on the day. If you love a good breakfast option order their “BELT” croissant with bacon, sunny-side up egg, lettuce and tomato or a chorizo, egg and cheese breakfast taco with a warm flour tortilla.

You can also try Brothers Taco House whose breakfast tacos are so good, you’ll often find a line out the door! Taste their popular barbacoa, egg, picadillo or migas breakfast tacos made with freshly made tortillas.
